The PIXMA MP 180 is a modestly price All-in-One printer that copies documents using the Dual Color Gamut Processing Technology.
The PIXMA MP 180 is relatively flat, rectangular shape with dark gray coloring. It's scanning lid is able to accommodate thick paper such as journals, according to Canon. In addition, to copy documents the printer employs the Dual Color Gamut Processing Technology which in essence independently controls factors such as brightness and hue.
It can print a borderless 4" x 6" photo in approximately 52 seconds, according to Canon. It has a black resolution of up to 600 x 600 dots per inch (dpi) and a color resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi. The PIXMA MP 180 can print documents as small as the size of a credit card and as large as 8" x 11.7".
Users with compatible memory cards, PictBridge digital cameras or DV camcorders can connect their devices directly to the PIXMA MP 180 and print their photos eliminating the need for a computer.
