Canon PIXMA MP160 Spec Sheet

The Canon PIXMA MP160 is a modestly price multifunction printer with copying and scanning capabilities.

The PIXMA MP 160 has a rectangular design with a dark gray matte finish and a black front panel. The Z-Lid's design enables users to scan thick originals such as personal notebooks, according to Canon.

It has a four color ink system with a true-pigmented black ink alongside 3 high intensity color inks. The PIXMA MP 160 has a resolution up to 4800 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi), according to Canon. It can print a borderless 4" x 6" photo in approximately 52 seconds. In addition, it can copy black and white documents at about 22 pages per minute while color documents can be copied at 17 pages per minute.

With regard to the PIXMA MP 160's scanning capabilities, it has a high resolution up to 600 x 1200 dpi (optical) and 19,200 x19,200 dpi (interpolated). It can scan documents as small as the size of a credit card and as large as 8.5" x 11.7". 

Users with PictBridge compatible cameras or DV camcorders can print photos without the need for a computer by connecting their device directly to the printer. Photos printed on the PIXMA MP 160 can last up to 100 years when printed on select Canon photo paper and stored in an archival photo album, according to Canon.
