The Kodak ESP 3 All-in-One printer is a copier, scanner and printer in one for $129.99. The medium build, all black Kodak ESP 3 is physically designed sleeker than it operates. With paper jams, economized scanning and loud noises during start up, copy and prints makes this printer less of a steal for the price. The Kodak ESP 3 also struck out in color accuracy where it had difficulty duplicating accurate shades of blues, greens and reds. However, with prices of $9.99 for black and 5-color ink cartridge for $14.99, the Kodak ESP 3 printer proved to be dependable and a good value when it came to its ink usage and price.

Xerox Introduces a Free Print Driver for the Traveling Professional

11 June 2008 - For the laptop-toting traveling gypsy, Xerox has introduced a free downloadable print driver called Mobile Express Driver (X-MED). The Canon Pixma iP2600 inkjet printer is a $49.99 budget model, but this low price unfortuntely comes with low quality output. Although the Canon iP2600 did beat out many other inkjet printers by a good margin in print speed, the quality of the prints was very dissapointing, with weak, muddy colors. Check out our review of the Canon Pixma iP2600 to learn more.

While the printer's on-unit navigation, almost completely piloted by its touchscreen, made it easy to use, the HP D7460 sometimes swayed from moderate to questionable performance on speed and color accuracy. The HP PhotoSmart D7460 retails for $124.99.
