12th May 09 - Epson today announced the WorkForce 310, a low-cost all-in-one printer, fax and scanner for small and home offices that includes an Ethernet connection so it can be used by multiple users. The WorkForce 310 will be available in June with an estimated street price of $130, and includes inkjet printer, scanner, copier and fax features.

27th March 2009 – Lexmark has announced 9 new mono multifunction laser printers in three new model lines for small office users. The new models include support for printing, scanning and copying with optional faxing and range from the $399 X264 to the $999 X463, which includes a 7-inch touchscreen.

3rd Feb 2009 – Canon has announced two new multifunction printers deisgned for small office users: the Pixma MX860 and the Pixma MX330. The $200 MX860 is an upgrade to the popular MX850 that adds wireless networking, while the $100 MX330 can produce a borderless 4 by 6 photo print in around 41 seconds.

7th Aug 08 - Epson America has introduced a new flagship line of premium Ink Jet all-in-one printers: the Artisan range. Two models have been announced in the new line; the $199.99 Artisan 700 and the $299.99 Artisan 800. Both models offer standalone printing, one-touch copying, as well as scan and fax capabilities.

26th Aug 08 - Canon has announced two new compact photo printers; the $199 Selphy ES3 (on the left in the image above) and the $149 Selphy ES30. Both printers can produce 4 by 6 photo prints in a claimed time of 55 seconds, and the ES3 includes 1GB of on-board RAM to store photos.

11th Aug 08 – Canon has introduced two new low cost photo all-in-one printers that they claim offer simpler operation and improved image quality. The $99.99 Pixma MP480 and the $69.99 Pixma MP190 both offer printing and scanning capabilities, while the MP480 supports the new ChromaLife 100+ dye ink, which Canon claims will last up to 300 years when appropriately stored.

11 June 2008 - For the laptop-toting traveling gypsy, Xerox has introduced a free downloadable print driver called Mobile Express Driver (X-MED). Compatible with both Xerox and non-Xerox Postscript printers, the print driver allows users to find printers on their connected network and print documents over a local network or over the internet. 10th June 08 - HP today announced the release of three new printers: the $99 HP Photosmart C4480 All-in-One, the $129.99 HP Officejet J4680 All-in-One printer and the bargain basement $69 HP Deskjet C4360. The $99 HP Photosmart C4480 AiO offers printing, copying and scanning with a 1.5-inch color display. The HP Deskjet C4360 offers document and photo printing for $69. And the HP Officejet J4680 AiO offers printing, coping, faxing and scanning capabilities at what HP describes as laser-speed prints for the price of $129.99. The HP Officejet J4680 will be available for purchase in August 2008; the C4480 and C4360 are available now.

The Epson Stylus NX400 AiO, which is capable of printing, scanning and copying, is the first model of a new generation of All-in-One printers, according to Epson. The Epson Stylus NX400 comes with DURABrite ink which Epson claims will reduce smudging, fading, and smearing due to water and highlighting. Plain paper prints, Epson claims will last up to six times longer than those from comparable competing manufacturers. The Epson Stylus NX400 is available for an estimated $99.99.
