September 12, 2007 – Walgreens Co., the U.S. nationwide drugstore chain, is promoting their new ink cartridge refill service today with a free offer for customers. Eligible cartridges will be refilled for free today, Wednesday, September 12, 2007 only at Walgreen’s photo counters. Cartridges can be refilled within a few minutes, but only eligible cartridges can be refilled. Refills cost $10 for black cartridges and $15 for color cartridges; in some cases, this is the half the price of replacement cartridges. Walgreens guarantees each refill.
