 The six-year-old Hi-Touch Imaging Technologies, Inc. produces dye diffusion thermal transfer (better known as dye sublimation) printers for both the home and commercial market. The newly released 731PS allows printing of ID-sized pictures up to 6-by-8-inch photos from PC or memory cards. The 731PS improves upon the previous models, the 730 series, with a faster image processor and the addition of picture frame templates. The HiTi 731PS goes on sale in October and will retail for $399. We got a chance to review one early and liked what we saw.
