Canon Pixma Pro9000 Photo Printer Review
by Tom Warhol

Navigation

The Pro9000, released in November 2006, is one of Canon’s most recent contributions to the professional photo printer market. This printer uses eight dye-based inks inside an elegantly designed chassis with simple functions. Without a lot of bells and whistles and retailing for $499, this printer is competitively priced with the Epson Stylus Photo R1800 ($549) and the HP Photosmart 8750 ($499). Capable of 4800 x 2400 dpi resolution in both black and color, this printer promises to produce high-quality photographs for a reasonable cost.
