Introduction   The Canon Pro 9500 Mark II is a serious printer, in every sense of the word. The pigment inks it uses produce very deep blacks and could manage a greater range of colors than most. But it's also a seriously expensive printer, at $849, and most photographers will be happy with a cheaper printer that produces decent prints (such as the Canon Pro 9000 Mark II or the Epson R1900).
